Nadwa Yono is the owner of Nadwa Hair Spa, a high-tech and innovative salon located in West Bloomfield, Michigan. She has more than 28 years of professional experience behind her and is nationally recognized for her work in the areas of hair color, hair attachments and wigs.
Nadwa is a frequent guest of the media and has been interview by her local NBC, CBS, Fox and ABC news affiliates and CNN. She has also been featured by Crain’s Business, Glamour magazine, American Salon, Modern Salon and The Detroit Free Press.
In recent years, Nadwa’s passion for treating women suffering from hair loss has come to the forefront. Nadwa has earned six professional certifications from the most elite hair-attachment educational programs and spent two years researching and training on hair attachments in order to discover the best hair products and applications. Today, in addition to working in her own salon, she teaches hair stylists from all over the country how to recreate the hair-attachment techniques she’s mastered.

Nadwa Yono is the owner of Nadwa Hair Spa, a high-tech and innovative salon located in West Bloomfield, Michigan. She has more than 28 years of professional experience behind her and is nationally recognized for her work in the areas of hair color, hair attachments and wigs.
The second youngest of nine children, Nadwa was born in Telkaif, Iraq, and immigrated to Michigan in 1970 at the age of seven. She became a cosmetologist at the age of 18 and began honing her craft at leading Detroit-area salons. Over the past 28 years, she has trained with the industry’s top schools and educators. The most influential of these was the renowned Trevor Sorbie of London. In 1991, Mr. Sorbie selected Nadwa from hundreds of applicants in a nationwide search to work with him as an educator at various national shows.
In 1994, Nadwa pursued the American dream and founded her own hair salon and day spa. Today she has a thriving 3,400-square-foot full-service facility, employing 24 highly skilled professionals.

Nadwa resides in West Bloomfield, Michigan, and is the dedicated mother of her two sons, Brandon and Kyle.
